The following tarriff applies to membership for season 2009/2010
*Season ticket holders get free entry to all home games except Cup games when the gate money is to be split between both teams. Click the following link to download our membership application form Once its downloaded, print it out, complete it and return by post to, The specific aim of this new initiative is to raise funds for Dundee HSFP Rugby that can be used for player development and recruitment, the funds so raised being made available to the playing committee on an annual basis. The broader aim is of course to enable the Club to compete at the highest possible level in Scottish rugby.
There is a one-off initial joining fee of £50 and thereafter a monthly payment by direct debit of £15 per month. Thus, based on an estimated initial membership of 20, £3600 would be raised every year. The one-off joining fee would of course raise £1,000 as soon as the Club was established.
In addition to the obvious benefits of helping to secure the future success of Dundee High Rugby, there are other benefits of membership including:
We hope you see this initiative as a simple (and relatively painless!) way of giving much-needed financial support to your club. If you wish to join, please print off the bankers order form and send completed form, together with your cheque for £50, to me at the following address: Many of those who have played for or been part of the Rugby Club over the years have moved away from Dundee, but are still interested in the Club - and the Club is still interested in them! For that reason, the Club has decided to launch a "Friends" package for those who live away from Dundee (50 miles plus) but who would still like to keep in touch and feel part of the Club, and support it in a small way. Given my contacts with so many former players, I was asked to be the Friends’ Honorary President and was delighted to accept. I think that this is a great initiative by the Club and I’m sure that you will agree. We are not a big club in terms of membership numbers, but we punch well above our weight. To keep it that way, we do need all the support we can get, and I am doing my bit to get the ball rolling. I think if we can enlist at least 50 ‘Friends’ before the start of next season that would be a fantastic start. So I would ask you please to make every effort to support this initiative. The Club will keep in touch with Friends by way of email newsletters, will have an annual lunch club dedicated towards the Friends (with perhaps an Occasionals game thrown in!), and all Friends will be very welcome as guests in the Clubhouse at any time. All this for just £20 a year - surely the best value in Scottish rugby!
You can join the Friends simply by printing out, filling in and posting back the Bankers Order form to Derek Lawson, 27 Navarre Street, Broughty Ferry, Dundee DD5 2TW. That is the simplest and preferred method but if you still wish pay by cheque then please state this on the form and return it with your cheque in the same way. Your support is greatly appreciated!
