Andrew's honours include,

  • Scotland Under 18
  • Scotland Under 19

Anders joined the club straight from school along with several fellow Scotland Under 18 caps from the class of 97. His prowess in the lineout skills around the park quickly saw him promoted to the 1st XV in a pack that contained British Lion Rob Wainwright and Scotland's Stewart Campbell.

A 4 year sabbatical to enjoy student life ended when Anders returned to Mayfield in season 2002/2003 to renew playing acquaintances with captain Tim Parratt as the club won promotion to Premier 2 and the BT Shield at Murrayfield.
